I recently downloaded Farcry 3 for $15. I used geforce experience to "optimize" my settings. It is running pretty well. I was just wondering if I could increase a few of the settings.
This is my rig.
GPU:Evga Gtx 770 (4gb version)
Cpu:Intel i7-4770k
Memory:16 GB
Monitor: Asus 27 inch Monitor 2560x1440 resolution,59Hz

This is what the settings are currently set to

GPU Max Buffered Frames-1
Alpha to Coverage-Enhanced
Ambient Lighting-High
DirectX-DirectX 11
Display Mode-Full Screen
Environment-High
Geometry-Ultra
MSAA Anti aliasing-2
Post Fx- Medium
Resolution-2560x1440
Shadow-High
SSAO Method-SSAO
Terrain-High
Textures -High
Vegetation-Very High
Water-Very High
Vsync-OFF

Could I set them any higher and still maintain a solid framerate?

Solution
You tell us. Every system is different, every person has different wants. The only thing you may or may not like is the V-sync option. Without it will be smoother, but have tearing.

Btw, 59hz does not help with latency. 59 FPS cap with 60hz monitor can, however. Or 58 FPS on a 59hz monitor. You might as well set it to 60.

Should I have purchased a monitor with higher HZ?

You can't buy a 2560x1440 27 inch monitor in any hz higher than 59. I just overclocked it up to 80HZ though. It was my first overclock! Also I think I will leave vysnc off.
