Hey everyone.
I'm stuck at my dad's for a while and I can't exactly bring my pc along with me so I have so make do with this hunk of junk known as a laptop.
From the looks of it it's probably been here for a few years now and the # key and the ] is broke but everything else works.
From a simple look on cpu-Z I've found that this junk has:
AMD E-300 clocked in at 1.3ghz with I believe 2 cores and 2 threads (yuck!)

TOSHIBA A40/A50 Series FCG mobo with K12 IMC chipset

4GB DDR3 ram single channel at 1333 Mhz

The cpus igpu is an AMD Radeon HD 6310 clocked at 278 Mhz with 384MB (yikes...)

Yeah its terrible but I just want to Know everything I can do to optimise this laptop and have it run at its best potential.

Solution
What OS does it run? If it is windows 10, you can run this program to remove some windows background processes, making idle ram and CPU usage lower. https://github.com/Sycnex/Windows10Debloater
I have had good luck with this program on an even worse 2c/2t 1.6ghz Celeron notebook with just 2gb of ram, 32gb emmc, and an It sped most things up a bit.
Realistically with the weak nature of that system, your not going to be gaming so the best way to make this system a little faster for web browsing and youtube playback is to install a lightweight linux distro, such as lubuntu. https://lubuntu.net/
Lubuntu is much faster than windows 10 on lower end or old hardware. It doesn't need to be installed either, as it can be run from...

Lubuntu is much faster than windows 10 on lower end or old hardware. It doesn't need to be installed either, as it can be run from an 8gb USB drive, even using usb2, with decent performance.

Yeh it does run Windows 10 so I'll give those programs a try.
