optimum hacked my router

How do I fix my netgear router? It used to speed the connection to 300mgps, but Optimum blocked my router and all wifi connections including my phone wherever I went for 24 hours and now my router has been slowed to 56mgps. This is illegal? yes? how d I fix my router now?

If they actually blocked it they would not do it on your router that would be stupid since as you are now attempting to do someone would just replace the router or reset it to factory.

If they have a block they did it on their router at their location and you have no hope to do anything.
