price is not desperately important. i am in south east london,uk. i am just looking for a really powerful build. i build all my own pc's, this will be my last build, im getting old.

Personally, I can't make any recommendations without knowing what chipset you are intending to use

(For whichever generation and chipset you are choosing to go with, which you STILL have not said.

There are MANY generations of i7

, many of which are not compatible with each other.)

It would be necessary to know this before making any kind of recommendation.
