Hello! I recently tried to optimize my ram settings and am painfully unclear if I've done it right or not. som info!
First of all this is an older computer I'm running an:
AMD Phenom II x4 955
on an MSI board:
Memory info: 790FX-GD70
Kingston KHX1600C9D3K4/16GX
Channel Dual unganged
NB Freq: 2000
DRAM Freq 800MHZ
FSB
RAM 1:4
CL 9-9-9-27 1T
From some poking around I've been told not to set the NB over 2k as it won't help performance and that FSBRAM should be 1:1 but that doesn't appear to be an option, if I leave it to default it goes to 1 : 3.3 and shows as 1333 in DRAM freq.
this may be a broad question but really any info that you all could provide would be greatly appreciated, it's been a long time since I've messed with pc's and I'm way out of the loop
