Some of you guys have helped me to better understand Ram and how its overclocked, so maybe you can help me come to some conclusions.

-I'm planning on building a 2.4c system, which I'm going to overclock.
-Most importantly I care about the fsb speed... I'd like to reach at least 1000mhz fsb, more if possible.
-I now realize that I can either buy PC4000 or let my slower ram overclock to a higher timing.
-The question is, what is the cheapest, lowest PC##### that can be used?
-How high can a pc3200 or pc3500 be pushed?
-How high of a bus can be achieved with the most expensive ram?

If you got 2.4C then get at least PC3700, PC4000 will be best. pC3200 or 3500 normally aren't meant to go above 230.
