Greetings!

Recently purchased and installed a MSI Aero GTX 1080 (blower design similar to FE) and it's running a bit hot. 60C at idle and 80C while gaming. Performance wise it's great but I would definitely like it to run cooler. I'm thinking over some options and would like to know what you all think about them and maybe even suggest some other options if you have them.

1.) Buy a cooling bracket and attach the Corsair H110i GT I have cooling the CPU to that and get an air cooler for the CPU.

2.) Buy a new after market cooler to replace the blower design that came with the card. If you all like this idea do you have any suggestions?

3.) Finally realize my ambitions to design and build a full custom water loop for my whole build.

Thanks in advance!

Nick

tough call...I love to water cool but frequently skip doing so on my GPUs only because they get replaced nearly ever generation and the old ones moved to my wifes rig. So for me its about hassle. If you plan on keeping your GPU past the next gen, I'd say water cool it and your CPU (especially if you overclock). If your like me and constantly upgrade...aftermarket cooler might be the easiest option.
