Optiplex 7010 newly installed graphics card not showing up in Device Manager
So, we decided to install a NVIDIA GT710 card into our computer. It is currently running the INTEL integrated card that came with it.
After following some pretty detailed instructions, it just isn't working or showing up in Device Manager. The fan on it is running so I know it has power. Have tripled checked it was seated properly.
I read somewhere this might be a BIOS issue? But also that I might have to uninstall the INTEL graphics drivers, reboot, and then perhaps it might recognize the new card?
I'm hesitant to do that, since if I uninstalled the INTEL drivers, wouldn't that mean I'd have no display? The monitor would just show blank and then I couldn't see anything from my computer?
