*note, im not a english person and i do not speak english super.*

So yesterday i saw the video of "couch gaming with steam" and i thought , WOW. I want that to!
So i have still my Old optiplex 755 laying around with c2d e4500 and 6gb ddr2 wind 10 hd6450 "heavy overclocked"

I installed every thing on it that i needed but when i tryd to play some Games.........
I think the cpu is Holding the System back!

So my question is:
Shall i take a q6600 quad Core or a c2d e8600
I can buy Both of them around 12 euro's
Thanks

Are you using Steam streaming from a gaming PC to the Optiplex, or are you trying to play games on the Optiplex?

If you're trying to actually run games on it, its a dog and won't run them well. If you are streaming to it, it should work ok, but may well not even have enough juice for that either.

I play it on a TV.
Im not playing that demanding Games. I play rocket league , crysis 2 that Run on 27 fps low settings 720p with c2d r4500

Have an open Mind , everything is welcome.

Ow and resolutions Look Better on a Big Screen

So you are playing the games installed on the PC. You need a new PC to get better performance, that PC is ancient. If you have a gaming PC elsewhere (not this one) in your house you can use this PC to stream games from it. That would be the only way to get acceptable performance.

IT was more like a update to my first gaming PC, i still play the Games like DONT starve and borderlands
