Optiplex 780 CPU upgrade

Ok well I'm going to start with my pc specs

Optiplex 780:

CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66GHz
Ram: 14GB DDR3
GPU: nVidia Quadro 4000
HDD: 2x Seagate 2TB
Fans unrelated but have to say it has 2 Delta server fans

I just wanted to know if i can upgrade the CPU to Xeon X3370

why would you want to do that? The optiplex 780 doesn't even support ECC memory, it's not even really an upgrade
