Hey group,

I have a buddy that is trying to put a promise PCI IDE card into this
desktop, and when he does, the onboard IDE channels get disabled.

Is this *supposed* to happen? Has anyone else seen this happen? Is there a
workaround so that he can have the PCI and the onboard functioning together?
Bootable CD support is absolutely required. With the PCI card, he loses it.

Thanks,

- NuTs

There's an option in the bios which determines whether the on-board IDE
channels are turned off or not if an IDE controller is added! You just
need to set it correctly....
