Question PSU upgrade for Dell Optiplex ?

hello to anyone interested! just joined because i cant find the answer i needed.
So i got this Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF for free and I'm trying to upgrade its PSU.
I've tried a 800w PSU and the PC stays black screened and not booting.

Then i tried to use the PSU from my HP Omen 870-244 but had same issue, but when I use the Dell's stock PSU it works fine again.

Is there a specific type of PSU I've got to buy? I'm looking for a 500w PSU, so if you guys know one that'll work let me know thanks!!

thats odd mines different when i tried looking it up turned out mine is a optiplex 7010 Mt DT model and heres the link to the psu its about 1 year old and the other power supply i used was from a hp omen 870-244

why do you wanna upgrade the PSU?

i just wanna upgrade it to install a gtx 1650 to give the pc away to my gfs little brother since hes been wanting a gaming pc so i thought id build a budget one for him
