Orange Line on Monitor

Does this orange line shown in the image below mean that the monitor is broken?

The vertical (or horizontal line) does indicate that the monitor panel is beginning to fail. There are YouTube videos that can help get rid of the lines for a while.

There is a ribbon cable that connects to panel along the top and along one side. When these become loose, it produces those lines. Sometimes putting pressure on those can get rid of the line (press on it right above the lines). But this is usually a temporary fix if it works at all.

Also it isn't just an orange line. They are often lime green or purple and can change colors.
