Hi everyone,
I finally got the parts to put together my first ever pc build. As far as I know I did everything in the right way, but something is not working. On the mobo the orange post led for dram is on and I have no image on my monitor.
For the moment my GPU has not yet been delivered, so I borrowed an nvidia quadro nvs 315. This gpu is connected to my display with a couple of adapters: on the gpu there's a weird connector, then there's a splitter to dvi and there I use an adapter to hdmi.
Would anyone know how to help me? Thanks!

What I already tried:
- cmos reset
- using only 1 stick of ram
- changing the monitor
- unplugging the ssd
- adding the power connector for the cpu (had forgotten about that one)
- unplugged about every cable from the mobo
