I’ve been waiting for this card for a while. I found it for $221 at ecost, but recently found it at http://www.bhphotovideo.com for $199.95 and they claim to have it in stock now or very soon. I got this card because it will play games well, do TV, and multi-monitor. Not to mention its 100+ dollars less than 9700+ all in wonders. Looking forward to fragin some HL2.

Good choice!

If it's your first AIW you will see that the MMC needs to mature a little more, but, the overall package is awesome! The TV tuner gives a very good video quality on the PC!

And, I say this on my experience with a AIW Radeon VE (PCI card, based on the old Radeon 7XXX).

Would you buy a GPS enabled soap bar?

Actually expect a maturation/change in the MMC with the Cat 3.8s. That was one of the 'as I said we are working on new features for 3.8' features that CatalystMaker was refering to in a recent interview.

Schmide, hope all work out, let us know how it goes.

I always have one of my old clunkers lying around with a Matrox G400 dual head if it doesn’t initially work up to par.

But I’ll be sure to keep my stick on the ice and duct tape my remote so I can record Red Green.

When you do record RedGreen, pass some copies over this way would ya? That show is simply da bomb!

No matter where you go, there you are.

You are thinking of the OTHER AIWs, the R9600 version has a dongle that has two VGA ports and no DVI.

And give up your nVidia fanboy status??? How would you heat your house in the winter…

Next episode

“Harold's Leaving", Episode #501.
Harold goes to college; Red builds a fishing boat; lightning.

On the 14th. I probably won’t have it in time for that. Just have to use the old gray matter recorder. Or the VCR.
