Ordered wrong case - cost of returning it?

I made a clumsy mistake and accidentally bought a Fractal Arc Midi R2 case from Newegg with the side window when I wanted the solid panel version.

Since it's my mistake, I expect return shipping will be on me. I went to the websites for Fedex, UPS, and USPS to get an estimate of how much it would cost to ship it back and it keeps coming up with $47 for the lowest cost Ground option. The package is big, bulky, and somewhat heavy, so it makes since for it to cost that much. But I was wondering, how are manufactures making any money off these cases if they're selling them on sale for about $50? Something doesn't make since.

I thought maybe it would be cheaper to just buy a solid side panel, but I can't find them for sale anywhere.

Newegg and Fractal can negotiate better shipping rates than you can.

If you buy the correct one from Newegg, and you're still within the 30 day window, they may take that back with no shipping costs.

You'd just have to ask.
