[SOLVED] Origin not requesting download permission?

Pretty much what the title is, every thread I've read and tried are all fixes from 4+ years ago. I've tried everything from reinstalling, running as admin and deleting hidden cache folders.

The problem as it stands is, I click download on a game and it will go through all the prep then stop the download, saying Windows has requested permission and I need to click yes. However, the famous Windows popup never comes up. Just wondering if someone knows of a way around this, just want to play Apex and Sims.

i dont see any permission popups with origin when launching or installing game
did u run it under administrator account?

Have you tried running origin itself as an administrator? If that does not work you could just install the game for all users on your administrator account. Last hope solution might be to just re-install origin.
