OS activation query

so i have win8 pro 64bit installed on my pc but my pc is abit messed up so i might be wiping it soon but i dont know when as i have alot of things going on in life that i need my pc for, so if i activate it now will i be able to reinstall it with the same key on the same machine after wiping it?

Yes. So long as it's a legitimate version of Windows, you should be able to wipe and install on the same system as often as you like. I think around the third time, Microsoft might chime in and require you to call in to activate, but they should still allow it (as long as no changes are made to the system).
