OS Compatibility Question on an ASUS M3A78 AM2+ motherboard

I have a rather old ASUS M3A78 AM2+ motherboard

Do you see any reason why Windows 8.1 would not work on it?

Yes - - Asus have not released any Windows 8 or 8.1 drivers for it. I just checked.

I can't say whether or not Windows 7 drivers would work for 8/8.1 because I'm a Windows 7 user.
I doubt they would, but you'd have to consult a Windows 8/8.1 advisor to be certain.
