Just wanted to ask the community for my new build if it would be possible to keep my OS on SSD but be able to send everything else to my external hard drive therefore replacing the need to buy an HDD. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hey, excuse my lack of knowledge, i have read that forum thread before however i thought that was only for HDD purposes not for external hard drives. I currently have Seagate go flex 1tb

Works the same.
Just a different drive letter...Windows does not care.
Just know externals are REMOVABLE meaning you shouldn't put anything there what Windows itself may expect at any time or expect it to be there at boot-up, otherwise is fine.
