OS onto a new drive

I currently have a HDD with windows and many other apps loaded onto it, I have a new copy of windows mounted as an ISO when I boot the ISO it runs through the standard fresh install phase, but how do I specify which drive the new fresh install is on because i want it loading to a new SSD?

The SSD and the HDD are probably not the same size.Your SSD is most likely smaller than your HDD.

the best way is to just power down your pc. unplug your hdd. install windows. then power down and plug your hdd back in.

set it up on a USB stick, remove the HDD, boot from USB, then tell it to install onto the SSD, then re-attach the HDD. You can't install from a mounted iso.

Is this ISO on a USB stick, or on that HDD?
If on that HDD, this will not work.

You need to create a bootable USB or DVD.
What specific OS is this?
