I am using windows 7 home basic.I need windows ultimate.What can I do without changing my OS?

Windows has a upgrade anytime included on its os click start control panel choose windows anytime upgrade.

I'm not sure you can in place upgrade from basic to ultimate however. Not saying you can't, but not sure you can either. OP, what makes you think you need ultimate? Pro so you can join domains is about as high as I think any normal user would need. And I doubt a power user would buy something with basic/starter.
