SSD 1: Samsung 850 Evo [500 GB]
SSD 2: Kingston A400 [120 GB]
HDD 1: Western Digital Black Performance 7200 RPM [6 TB]
HDD 2: ST500DM002-1BD142 [500 GB]
Current Configuration:
SATA 0: SSD 1 (OS)
SATA 1: SSD 2 (Programs)
SATA 2: HDD 1 (Games)
SATA 3: HDD 2 (Pictures, Videos, Etc.)
My Question:
Would it be better to switch the Samsung and the Kingston? The Operating System would be on the smaller SSD. Would the slower Read/Write Speeds affect the Operating System performance in a negative way? Or would it have little effect?
Note: Reinstalling Windows is not an issue at all, and has no impact on the final decision.
