OS switching between drives

I'm going to be replacing the HDD in my laptop with an SSD soon and I was wondering if I'll have any issues with the OS. I don't plan on cloning the drive, so would there be any issues with the Windows 7 validation after installing the SSD? I bought the copy of W7 myself, it's not a factory installed OS.

Should be fine. Windows ties to the mobo.
