Question OS to new SSD issues

Hello,
I used Acronis to clone my 1 TB HDD to SSD (had a good bit of personalization I didn't want to lose). At first, I was able to boot directly from the SSD when it was the only drive plugged in. But then I plugged in my HDD also and set the boot priority to use my SSD, and I got an error when booting. I have since been unable to boot from the SSD, even when it is the only drive plugged in.
Would appreciate any help.

I used Acronis to clone

I tried either this or another similar program ~ 3 months ago and it failed, too, in a different way. Prefer clean install of Windows, otherwise stupid issues may occur.
