Good morning. I'm building a new machine. I want to use an M.2 SSD drive to store my operating system and a 240GB SSD for data, programs, etc.

I already have the programs/data on the 240 along with the OS (moving this from old machine). What is the best way to get JUST the OS onto the M.2 and still be able to access the data on the 240 and run my programs from there?

Thanks.

OK.. So if i do a clean install, I'll have to point to the programs on the old ssd to run them, correct? I won't have to do a reinstall of all programs, etc.

You would ideally need to reinstall your programs as well as you probably get some issues. You can move the files, pictures, videos or music files but programs you should reinstall again.
