I am working on building my own computer and i am as of right now planing to put an AMD processor in it. I have been wondaring if i could run xp pro with it instead of x64. Is that possible to do?

Yes. Right now I'm sure most 64-bit processors are in machines running 32-bit OSs. Not a problem.
