[SOLVED] Other graphics cards don't work unless AMD FirePro V4900 is also installed ?

So I'm working on a Dell T1650 and it originally has a V4900 installed. It works "okay" but the fan could go out at any moment. It's quite audible and we're attempting to place another video card in the system. We have a nVidia FX 580 and a 1050. We installed the drivers and the video cards WILL work .... but only if the V4900 is installed as well -- they will not work by themselves ?

It doesn't matter what slot the cards are in. There is no video present if the V4900 is not present. We've updated the BIOS to the latest version. System is running Windows 10 in UEFI, and we've tried several different drivers and even tried uninstalling the AMD driver for the V4900.

FX 580? Barely a graphics card, about 12 years old? Not that the V4900 is exactly new...but still a good bit better at least it has GDDR5.
