Other Monitor Not Working

Hello,

I am trying to setup another monitor. I currently have my main one plugged into a NVIDIA graphics card. I have plugged my second monitor into the motherboard since there are no other ports on the graphics card. Windows cannot detect the monitor and NVIDIA can't either. The monitor just says no signal for 2 seconds, and then goes black. Please Help! Thank you!

That is because most motherboards disable the on-board graphics when a stand alone video card is installed. What are the specs for this system?

My main monitor is a AOC2367. Second Monitor is a Samsung, I don't recall the name. My motherboard is a Gigabyte AB35OM-D3H. My graphics card is an NVIDIA 1600. Are those the specs you were looking for? I built my pc.

So using Ryzen CPU? Ryzen does not have integrated graphic, so you will not get display through motherboard at all. You must connect all monitors to GPU only.

Ryzen 3,5,7 doesn't have support for integrated graphics, only the AM4 APU's (based off old tech) can use those display outputs. It needs to be attached to your GPU
