Dear community

I recently bought a nvidia gtx 760 for my computer, I installed it then realized it didn't have a vga output on it. This was a problem as my monitor only has a vga input. So I began to plug it via hdmi into my tv, it works but res is always messed up.

So I look online and found a hdmi to vga adapter, it arrived today and I plugged it in straight way...

Boom it worked perfectly, I went to look around and the resolution and see what I could do.

So I changed it and screen goes black and "out of range 67.5 khz / 60 hz" appears, it then disapears and I am back at my old res. I decided I would check another res to see if this happened and it did, but did not go back to old res.

I am now stuck as everytime I turn on my and it is plugged into my monitor that message appears. I read somewhere that you can go in safe mode and change my res, so i did. But when returning to normal the message appears.

Any idea what I can do to get my working res back?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Karl
