I recently overclocked my BenQ 60hertz. I got a message saying out of range, I have tried so many different methods to try and fix it but has worked. Any suggestions?

Solution
If you overclocked it and it used to work but now no longer works with the same overclock, then it means something is no longer able to keep up with the signal somewhere, possibly due to noise on the power supply, aging of PLL components or other factors.

If you haven't tried it already, reduce your overclock refresh rate. There isn't much else you can do short of popping the cover off and poking around the circuitry but that is something only an advanced electronics hobbyist/tech or engineer is likely to be successful at messing around with unless the problem is physically obvious.
The best bet is to find the exact panel part id and see how many monitors it is used in then see if there is any posts of working overclocks on it.

It may not even be worth it, just by downsampling to a higher resolution things will get blurry, and not just in the desktop like i thought it would but in game as well. Probably best not to get to zealous in monitor overclocking.
