Hi,

I am looking for a budget Micro atx Mobo for my new system. Mainly for Blender and Photoshop work.

I don't really want to flash bios in order for the 3000 series to work but rather ready solution out of the box.

My budget is under £100. Is it realistic to have something decent without blowing a budget? Most important it has to be micro atx.

If flashing is pretty straight forward I might consider as last option. Have nothing but old Intel system.

I wouldn't mind going with x570 but after a quick search it seems they are out of my budget.

I am looking forward to build something like this:

MSIGeForce GTX 1660 Ti
PSU 600W

500 SSD NVMe
16 GB RAM
Ryzen 3200G
Small factor PC CASE

Thanks!

Per PCWorld: "One thing to keep in mind as you review that menu of AMD CPUs above: Even though the Ryzen 3 3200G and Ryzen 5 3400G carry "3000-series" model names, they're not actually AMD's new leading edge 7nm Zen 2 cores. That cutting-edge technology is reserved for the new Ryzen 3000-series CPUs alone. Instead, both Ryzen 3000 APUs are actually based on AMD's prior-gen 12nm cores, aka Zen+, despite their model numbers". -- So, the naming scheme is a bit of a misnomer here...any X470 board should do you well without a BIOS update out of the box. That article is here: https://www.pcworld.com/article/340...amers-an-affordable-taste-of-radeon-vega.html

Should you decide to go to a regular, actual 3000-series CPU, this link should give you a good idea of where to start and what boards would need a BIOS update: https://www.wepc.com/tips/bios-update-for-new-ryzen-3000-chips-x470-b450/

Good luck!

Thanks. In fact I am think now to go with more powerful 2gen 5 2600x as I don't really care about on cpu integrated better gpu( 3gen emphasis a lot about it). I rather choose raw power of the 2600x.

I think that's the way to go. Also 2600x is just £25 more expensive .

Thanks for input :)
