Most coolers have had an update for AM4 at this stage, and the vast majority who haven't, have an upgrade kit available.

The 2600 ships with a stock cooler.... why not start with that and see how things perform?

If you are planning to spend money on a cooler, why not just buy a 2600x.

yeah but can i overclock it with the stock cooler? i know many people say you can but some days i will use it for over 8 hours and i dont know how that could affect the CPU and shorten the lifespan

I am overclocking my 1600 to 3.8 with stock cooler for almost a year now. Not seeing any issue. As long as your voltage and temp are good, no shortening lifespan, this applies to any cooler. A notably stronger cooler may cost you ~50 bucks, if you want to do that, go ahead.

There is almost not point in overclocking the 2600x, it already reaches its max possible frequency with a turbo boost.
