Hey all,

I haven’t built a PC in nearly a decade and I’m a little bit out of date as to what parts/manufacturers are still quality.
I’m hoping to build a decent model with a 24” monitor (preferably two) for under $1500 CAD. It will primarily be used for rendering/music production with some light gaming thrown in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Sadly, right now is an awful time to build due to bad parts availability/prices, expecially graphics cards.

I would assume you don't need much graphics power for this, just enough for the light gaming aspect, so I did not include an overpriced gpu in this, just a Gt1030 which will play some lighter games, but thats about it.

Exactly. I've heard it's an aawful time for GPU purchases. I really don't need anything impressive as gaming will be like The Sims 4 level-processing, nothing more.
