outlook 2013 mail syncing issue

i installed outlook on a new windows 7 computer, i backed up old e-mails from outlook 2003 and put it on to the new computers outlook 2013. the old computer that was running outlook 2003 was sync to receive any e-mails from gmail, im having trouble setting that up on the new computers outlook 2013. how can that be done?

Open Outlook:

File, Account Settings, New...
Tell it your gmail username and password. I have mine set to get multiple gmail addresses.
