Dear reader,
Thank you for showing your interest in this topic.

First of all: my apologies if I started this question in the wrong subdirectory.

I somehow am not able to open an stored e-mail for the second time using Outlook 365, 2016.

Please allow me to clarify the problem:
When I store an e-mail on my desktop or whatever other place files can be stored.
Storing defined as, dragging an e-mail from Outlook towards the e.g. the desktop.

And I open that mail by doubleclicking on it, all goes as expected.

However, when I close this specific mail in Outlook. (By pressing X on the menu bar) and I want to reopen the same e-mail, Outlook presents me with the following error:
"C:\username\Desktop\mail.msg cannot be opened." "The file is already opened or you are not authorized to open this file" "Right click on the map to view your acces rights"

How can this be? I made sure that I closed the specific mail in Outlook. Once I close and restart Outlook, the file can be opened one more time till the same error occurs. How can I solve this problem?

Thank you for reading.
With kind regards,
Tiwtik
