Outlook express email cant download because of 64 bit platform

Hello,
I'm trying to download outlook express onto my parents laptop for them and get to the finishing stage and it gives me the error message can't download because of 64 bit platform?? I'm computer illiterate and not sure what to do...Thanks

What version of Windows is the computer running, and where are you downloading Outlook Express from?

Outlook express version 6 and below isn't compatible with windows 7 32 or 64 bit.
