Outlook express export

m trying to export my address book in OE to a new pc. But its not letting me because my default mail client is not activated. When I go to options and in general tab its showing the option to make OE my default mail client is ghosted. Does anyone know how to unghost this?

I believe the default mail client is set in IE. Go to tools, internet options, programs tab, and select outlook express under email. That should set it to be the default mail client though I don't see how that would prevent you from exporting your addresses. Are you just trying to export your wab file or whatever from inside the addressbook?

I think thats what I did wrong. I tried to export the address book from the main page of Outlook Express instead of going through tools>address book, and then go to files>export>address.
