How can one transfer the Outlook Express Mail Inbox from one PC to another ? Are there any utilities which can do this ? Thanks

c:\Windows\Application Data\Identities\xxxxxxxxxx\Microsoft\Outlook Express\

It's all there.

I cleverly forgot to mention that this will be from a Win '95 to a Win' 98 system . Should this make any difference ? Is it just so simple as to copy over that one file ?

It shouldn't matter that it's going from 95 to 98. You can do a find files, the personal address book is .pab and your inbox will be .pst. Once you get them on the new system your going to have to tell outlook where they are in services. Something like tools, services. Or you can go to start, settings, control panel, mail. Hope that helps.

Personally, I use Yahoo! Web Mail. That way, everything (mail, address book, etc.)can be accessed from any PC with an internet connection.

When I reinstall the OS or build a new PC I don't have to worry about backing up or transferring anything. Makes things a lot easier.
