Outlook express

hello... i have some problem here... some of my pc won't send a 6mb above of file through the outlook express... may i know why...

At 6MB or higher, it may exceed the maximum size allowed by your email provider.

so..even its 6mb file that compress to what i say..about 3 mb..but still can't send

Why not just check with your provider?

Some limit both the single file size, and the total size per message. Example: a single message may be limited to 4MB total attachment size with a single file size limit of only 1MB (you couldn't send a single 2,3,or 4 MB file)

owh...emm...i use gmail as my outlook account..i think the limit is about 25 mb

Try another e-mail client, such as Thunderbird.

hi...this is not about the email client or everything...this all from the email server it's self..that not..support the outlook.. i tried to send it with other mail server such as hotmail and aol...all can sent from the outlook and outlook express..thanks guys...for helping!!!

I believe it has 5 MB limit. Use WinRAR to compress the file/folder.

thank whistler51 i have tried it already..all the file that i sent is the compressed WINRAR file..i think it the problem with my account i think..cause when i use another account...my email just go through..like normal...even if i sent a above 5 mb
