Outlook sprell checker again

I sent this the first time on the 3rd, but somehow missed the post or
something anyway I can not find it.
I recently installed word on my computer and, one of the reasons was for
the spell checker. Everytime I try to use it now in outlook express I just
get " an error occured while the spelling was being checked" can anyone
help me , thanks !
