Question Outside of games, G-Sync causes screen tearing in fullscreen view

I've started getting noticeable screen tearing while watching movies, streams or youtube in full screen mode when G-Sync is enabled. I don't know what's causing it but it only started a few days ago. I've updated drivers, checked settings but can't find anything that might be causing it.

I run at 144Hz, and dropping the refresh rate down to 60 actually makes it worse.

Again this is only outside of games and only when in full screen with G-Sync enabled. And has only started recently.

Any ideas what the problem is?
