Over 100C temperatures?! Problem or sensor failure?

Hello Forum! Not sure I'm posting this where it should, if not then I'd like to ask an admin to move it in the right category. So I've recently assembled a new PC by myself and this kinda worries me as watching the temperatures and voltages report in HWMonitor I see an alarming temp of over 100C on one single pin while the rest are oscillating around 30C-40C. Even the CPU and GPU are not going past 50C while intense gaming but that pin never drops bellow 100C...
I'm not even sure where that pin is located at... I think its on the back of the mother board?
I've posted below the report from HWM. What do you guys think?

Don't quote me on this. It could be possible since this is a kaby lake chip that the TIM was not applied correctly from the factory. I have heard of a lot of issues of kaby lake chips with over heating and this sort of stuff. If this is the case, there is nothing you can do and it should still be under warranty by Intel. Otherwise, it is the motherboard sensor, which will need to be replaced or you applied thermal compound very, VERY poorly.

^ *bump*

I fail to see how another software would give different results... I've checked both realtemp and coretemp (though compared to HWM they seem outdated) and again I see a temp of 100C with coretemp (what does Tj Max stands for?) but not with realtemp... I'll check inside BIOS next

I've checked the BIOS and the CPU temp was 38C while the motherboard temp was 31C and I couldn't find any other readings so I guess...everything is fine right? There has never been a slowdown, freeze or random shutdown since I got it so this must mean a faulty sensor right?
