Hello,

My BIOS time is usually under 10seconds but since a few days it has been going up to 60secs & today it even showed a 2minute bios time.
After my latest boot one of my hard drives is no longer shown in file explorer. When going to diskmanagement it shows the hard drive as "not initialized".

I assume the increased bios time is due to the hard drive failing (& now perhaps having fully failed). Is this true or could there be a diffrent reason as to why the bios time has increased out of no where?

A faulty HDD/SSD can cause all sorts of issues. Long boot times and a slow system being a common occurrence. Even if they aren't the boot drive. The system still tries talking to them. Disconnect the drive and try booting without it connected.
i will disconnect the harddrive & see if it fixes the issue ty for the help.
