PNY GEForce 7600gs $149
OCZ PC2 6400 1gb EL Dual CH Platium Edition XTC 4-5-4-15 $150

All the hardwares are ready and being put together rightnow. I'll be checking the replys as i'am working on it.
Thanks, Dan

you should get well over 3.7 ghz . but no two boards clock the same.
make sure you have asus latest bios (not the betas)
first thing ...dont rush to max your oc.
use the pre set auto features at first to slowly get up to 20% oc.
prime 95 for at least 6 hours monitoring temps. the 920 is a cool runner.
after all is stable use the maunual mode to bring up the fsb.
you shouldnt need voltage adjustments to stabilize up to 3.4 and over.
I personally never had the vcore past 1.375 @ 3.87ghz.
my sweet spot is in my sig.
I ve hit over 4 on air but who needs 4ghz ? and that takes serious cooling to run 24/7
keep us posted.

It is Dan
Just had it finished. I was looking for the PLL for KeyGen then found out the MB had one big circuit line scratched off completely from the board. So i'am on the way to Fry's for exchanging. Darn it
I'll be back

Got it stable at 4.0014gz (fsb at 286, Vcore at 1.350v, memory at 1.9v, pcie at 1.6v) now. Test with prime95 for 12hours
One question about the heat tolerance of the PRESLEY: how much?
mine is at (47 to 62). Is it too hot?
Possible to push it at 4.3 with water cool.

You should hit 4.7 with water cooling ez. Also, Intel chips have very high heat tolerances, especially NetBurst chips. Your temps are pretty good as is.

Update with water cool BIG WATER SE here is the result
Bios boot at 4.2gz at 299 fsb but window run for 1 minute and shut down for preventing damage to harewares But the CPU temp rage was at only 47-65. huh
Is there any way to disable this safety feature from windowxppro??
Thanks

up the termination voltage in bios but dont let the temps smoke that cpu.
disable thermal protection in bios to see if it stailizes.
I would drop the front side bus down a little.
if you got the bsod mabie the ram needs tightening

brain fart 😳
forgot to ask what reporting software your using.
there are adjustments within the software.to raise and lower thermal points
