Over Clocking my CPU

Hi, I really want to overclock my i3 530 to get the best out of it with my GTX 750 Ti. But I don't understand the tutorials on how to do it. They're a bit too technical for me. Is it OK if I do? Please help, thanks.

Yes, but make sure that it's stable. Did you read this? http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/core-i3-530-overclock-lga-1156,2626.html You'll need a good aftermarket cooler ans some luck; my i3-550 isn't stable over 3.8 GHz.
