Hi just had a quick question for anyone willing to give there thoughts.first of all im going to give my pc specs.

GTX 950 2GB SC
INTELL PENTIUM G3258 3.2 GHZ
DDR3 SINGLE 8GB RAM
450W PSU
MSI H81M P33 MICRO MOTHERBOARD

And its regarding my ram i found out that its speed is only 1333mhz and it says its max is 1600mhz but my motherboard doesnt support xmp and i can only raise it to 1400mhz is this small raise even worth it? And what other options could i do i plan on upgrading sometime soon but for now this is what i have.

What is the advertised speed of the memory? Is it 1333mhz memory or is it 1600mhz memory?

First, make sure you have the latest bios version installed.

If that does not help then it's likely you will need to simply run the memory at the default SPD value or manually configure the memory speed yourself in the bios since there is no XMP setting present in the bios setup menu.

In all honestly you are not going to see any significant difference between 1333mh and 1600mhz.
