So I recently got an Asus Strix Scar 2. I was trying to undervolt/overclock it and get the best performance out of it. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, temps were below 80. Then moved on the the graphics card and started running heaven. About 3/4 the way through my laptop crashed. On reboot I ran the cpu bench through Intel xtu and the temps were shooting up to 95c and current and thermal throttling.

Do you think the heatsinks just got unseated or is it something worse?

Just dont overclock a laptop.
Well its not like I was trying to boost the cpu, I was trying to under volt it to lower clock temps. The gpu is what I was tweaking. Normally I have no issues with this and even if I go a little over then the thing just crashes and I reset it. This time even after resetting it, the temps are staying way high.
