Over Clocking

Can you tell me the Ghz reading after over clocking a i7 920 2.66 by 10%? I am having problems determining if my system was overclocked or not. Thank you

Just use CPU-Z to tell you what speed your 920 is running at. Bare in mind that the core i7 920 has Turbo

10% OC? 2.66x1.10=2.926 is the answer.

You are asking why your CPU is running at 2793MHz instead if I am not mistaken. This is due to the turbo mode.
