I just started using a Gigabyte GTX 1080 and it's over heating - because there is not fans on both sides. Is there a cooling solution I could fix to the bare side(side with no fans) to resolve this issue?
You mis-quote me. I said there are no fans on the other side which is bare. This side gets hot enough to heat up the case and cause issues with the PC crashing. Right not I have ill advised Frankenstein attempt - I have 2x CPU heat sink fans laying on the bare side (Not fixed to anything!)and a stronger fan from a junk PSU focusing cool air on it - attached to the case. There must be a industry standard for attaching to the side without fans surely? What do you mean there no fans has the gpu got no fans or dose your case.
Could you take a photo off the case this sounds like bad case with bad airflow and it caursing the case to bulid up heat. You should have one fan at back to get heat out and one in front to let air in.You mis-quote me. I said there are no fans on the other side which is bare. With respect - I know about positive air flow. Yes I do have one fan in lower position on the front sucking air in and on positioned higher sucking warm air out plus two more fans fixed where the glass viewing panel would be on newer PCs. Also I slotted it in a x16 PCI away from the PSU and it is compatible with my GigabyteGA-X58-USB3 (rev. 2.0) and is not overclocked not have changed any BIOS settings. . (Not the case). Every graphics card I have seen only has fans on one side.Could you take a photo off the case this sounds like bad case with bad airflow and it caursing the case to bulid up heat.
